‘Safe Places’ Seminar

On 7 May 2006 we are holding a ‘Safe Places’ seminar here at the church at 12:15 pm – 4 pm
for anyone involved in ministry to children and youth or leadership in our church.
The seminar will cover:
providing a safe environment in which children and youth can grow and develop
ensuring that if harm occurs it is dealt with appropriately
supporting churches in their efforts to be places of help and healing for those who have suffered harm.
Cost is $15.00 and flyers are available at the Help Desk.

We require the payment before the night.
For the 10–12 night payment is required by Sunday 7 May.
For the GO Event we need the forms filled in by Sunday 21 May and payments by 28 May.

Spirit Warriors

Calling all men loyal to Jesus Christ and His Church who are willing to be trained in the use of the ‘sword of the Spirit’ — the Word of God for battle against satanic forces and for the expansion of the kingdom of God. (Ephesians 6:10-18)
SIX WEEKS BASIC TRAINING FOR MEN ONLY (18 years or older)
COMMITMENT:
(a) Commencement: Men’s Breakfast Sunday, 4 June, 7–9 am
(b) Personal Training: Minimum 30 minutes/day, five days/week for six weeks
(c) Group Training: Six Sundays 3:00–4:30pm: 11, 18 and 25 June; 16, 23 and 30 July.
(d) Conclusion: Men’s Breakfast Sunday, 6 August, 7–9 am (These are Big Sundays.)

This is an opportunity for all the men in the church to come together. Many of the younger men in the church have expressed a desire to connect with the older men and this is a great way to mix with those you might not know well.
