Applications have now closed to be part of the 2006 Rivers Snow Tour to Falls Creek, Victoria.
We have 11 starters, comprising four members from Rivers Baptist (Dominic Window, Shane Bruce, Kerry & Wayne Eustace), three Christians from other churches and four non-Christians. We are hoping this will be a time of fellowship and outreach in a vastly different environment.
We leave on Friday 1 September and return on Sunday, 10 September.
Please pray for the whole group and the effectiveness of this ministry.
And start saving for Snow Tour 2008 !!!!!!!
Ok girls, it’s time to start saving up for ‘She is Heavenly Beautiful’. That’s right, She and Heavenly Beautiful are combined this year and it’s gonna be great.
We’re having it at Brookfield QCCC, which is a great venue and it’s a lot closer than Mt Tamborine.
We’ve decided to run with the church’s theme of ‘Boldly’. It’s on 8–10 September for girls in grade 8 all the way up to 25-year-olds.
It’s only $110, and we hope to see you all there. Registration forms will be out soon and we will keep you posted.
And to all the ladies in the church, we are starting fresh with the small group leaders on the camp. So if you are interested in being a part of that — helping a group of about five girls through some great studies and sharing times — we’d love to hear from you. Please go to the Help Desk and give your name, number, email address and preferred age group to one of the lovely ladies up there. And we will get back to you. You will be required to pay $110 for the camp and, if possible, hold a Blue Card. Please get in soon as there are only a limited number of positions.
