Rivers Baptist Church - Christ alone - and Him crucified

Queensland Baptists have asked that churches across Queensland set aside the week of 1st to 8th October for a special prayer focus, with every Church having been asked to hold a special prayer meeting on the evening of Wednesday 8th October starting at 7:30pm.
We are asking that every member make a special effort to be in attendance on this evening and that they come to pray for (1) Three family members or friends that you may contact in the year ahead with the express purpose of introducing Jesus to them (2) That we pray for three other Baptist Churches in our area that God will do a great work in and through them (3) for Global Interaction initiatives and our missionaries working for the kingdom through our GIA mission group.
Put this in your diaries NOW and not only plan to attend, but seek to remove any obstacle that will prevent you being in this special prayer event.
