Brad & Mel Dutney are heading back to Thailand!

Bring

Thailand Trip 2: 6 December – 24 December

After returning from our trip in July, we were touched by the kids, the volunteers, the country, the huge need for help and to spread God’s news. With this in our hearts, we felt God was calling us to go back in December.

We prayed about it and things just fell into place. We found cheaper tickets and it also meant we could spend a couple more days over there.

We are returning to see the kids again at the orphanages, to see our Thai friends from the university at Lop Buri and to be obedient and grow closer to God. One big thing for us as well is to have faith in Him. When we last went over to Thailand, the trip was like a tour: everything was planned and organised in advance. This time we have to organise our own transport, find our own accommodation and find our way through Thailand on our own.

We just ask the church if they could pray for the kids, the volunteers and leaders and us on our journey. If anyone would like to help with gifts like toys, pencils, colouring in books or monetary gifts it would be most appreciated. We will pass it onto the two orphanages that we are visiting. These are some of the things they need:

Phrae House of Mercy still require $20 000 to complete the kitchen/dining room/laundry complex.
In Phrae Helen has started a kids club for primary school kids that are affected by HIV.
The Khon Kaen House of Mercy is looking for some land so that they can expand their facilities. $500 000 for the land and $500 000 for the building. This House of Mercy takes in kids with HIV there is really no other place that they can go.

Metachanupathum School is continually expanding to take on the ever-increasing number of underprivileged kids in the school. It is now up to 600 kids.

God Bless,
Brad and Mel.
