Rivers Baptist Church - Christ alone - and Him crucified

Yes, it’s back. Consider this the revival of the Rivers Baptist Table Tennis afternoon/evening. We will be conducting some fun events for Gentlemen & Ladies and would love for you to come along and have a leisurely few hours smacking plastic, biting burgers, sipping cappuccino and chewing fat.

We would also like for you to invite some friends along who may not normally attend church, just to get a feel for the caring, friendly atmosphere. We intend to play mostly doubles games with a few little prizes on offer for the winners at the end of the night. Café Rivers will be open (volunteers pending) so there will be a nice little alfresco touch as well. What’s the bet that it will rain, hey?

There are plenty of fun events organized so please gather together all your friends and bring them along. Oh, and you should pre-register just so we know how many people to cater for.

The cost will be $10 per Rivers attendee and invited guests are free. If guests are regular attendees of another church, perhaps they might like to make a donation to help cover costs. Providing we can muster the person-power, we intend to open Café Rivers for the whole event (probably about 4pm to 11pm) which will supply free food and drinks all night for participating players.

We are in need of some volunteers to spend a little bit of time in Café Rivers just helping with taking orders, flipping some burgers or pouring cappuccinos. If you can help for a half hour or a couple of hours, we could really use your help to make this a standout night for everyone. Please see the contact details below.
