Here’s the latest news from the Board. Don’t forget to grab one of us if you have any questions, concerns or chocolate to give away!

We had an all-day workshop on Wednesday 25 July to continue working and praying through God’s vision for the church and what that means for the way we ‘run’ church. We’ll let you know what comes out of the workshop.
We’ve finished updating the roll… phew! The next job is to start contacting those who have been moved to ‘inactive’ to make sure they are currently attending a church somewhere and that they are doing okay.
Margaret McKay and Lorraine Gieskens are working tirelessly on the new church directory. They’re planning for it to be ready by the end of the month.

From September, the BFS women’s Bible study group will hold its Bible studies at the church on Tuesday mornings. If you’re interested in joining, please see the Help Desk for more details. They do provide child-minding for children aged 2 and over.
The Pastoral Search Committee has placed an ad in the next QB for a Youth Pastor. Please keep praying for this position and that God will direct his chosen person to our door.
Tim Miller will finish up in his role as the finance officer in the next few weeks. We’d like to thank him for all his hard work over the last few years in the finance area.
While Jim Gailer is away on holidays, Margaret McKay will come in one extra day a week to keep the office ticking over.
