"If our motive is to make more glamorous and more comfortable places for worship, we have got our motives completely wrong. We are planning for the future, say 5 or 10 years time. But we need to cater for the current congregation first. We ought to plan in moderation not in extremities. Otherwise we target and spend so much money now for something that maybe different (in needs) in the future."
