2 x U9 - 4 places available - Born 1999, or 2000

3 x Mens Teams - 2 places available - Born before 1993
2 x Ladies - 3 places available - Born before 1995

Once teams are full we can not add any news players in that age group, we may be able to offer positions in a higher aged team.

FEES

ALL FEES WILL BE REQUIRED TO BE PAID PRIOR TO BEING ALLOWED TO PLAY FIXTURES THIS YEAR. If you have difficulties with this please discuss with me.

We have struggled to receive payments again in 2007 and we still have some outstanding amounts.

Playing Fields for 2008

We are playing our home games at Genesis Christian College. Thankyou very much to our contacts and the school for assisting with organising this.

Parking - PLEASE USE THE STAFF CARPARK which is much closer to the fields. No one is to park anywhere on the ovals or outside the carpark. The carpark is less than 100 metres from the field.

Please make sure all rubbish is placed in bins and areas have been cleaned up before leaving - If everyone does their bit it will not be a burden on a couple of people.

Toilets will be available. They are visible from the field through the space between the two buildings.

Training Day is Wednesday - Please make sure you arrive ontime

We train on Wednesday afternoon to evening at the John Oxley Reserve, Ogg Road, Murrumba Downs(except for the Under 9 Raiders and U10s). Junior Teams generally train sometime between 5pm and 7pm for about an hour. Senior Teams train after 7pm.

General Information

If you want to play a fun and competitive sport then Soccer is your game and Rivers is where you want to play.

Hi, my name is Shayne Rochfort and I am Co-ordinator of Rivers Baptist Church Soccer Club.

Committee

In 2007 Rivers had 15 teams and about 200 players. We had five Under 7s and Under 8s, six Junior teams and four Senior teams. We were represented in semi finals by six teams and all six made the Grand Final, with three teams winning. It was a a great season all round.

Club Fees

I am including our club's fee structure to help you prepare for what you will have to pay at sign-on. I believe our club has some of the lowest fees in the association.

Rego and playing (game) fees (including GST)

Under 7 and 8 - $130
Under 9 to under 15 - $140
Mens, Ladies and Over 30's - $210

There is a family discount of $10 for each player after the first as in previous years.

Payment Methods

We can accept Cash, Cheques, EFTPOS and Credit Cards (VISA, MasterCard and BankCard with a 2% surcharge). Please make cheques payable to Rivers Baptist Church.

Playing Strip

Playing strips need to be purchased or ordered on sign on day. All players need to purchase these from the club. All players will own their own strip. Numbers will be selected when teams are registered. If looked after strips will last 3-4 years. These prices are for current styles of uniform, we may have to charge extra if we change suppliers.

Jersey - $25 (RRP $40)
Shorts - $20 (RRP $25)
Socks - $10
$55 Total for your full strip to keep.
Name labels are $1.50 per letter

Giveaway - If you just want to give away the gear just bring it along and make it available. If there is any gear left over we will give it away to a charity.

I will have the gear available until mid season before giving it to the charity.

Rivers Baptist Church Soccer Club is looking to have 2 Mens & 2 Ladies teams participating in the QBSA (Queensland Baptist Soccer Association - http://www.qbsa.org.au [16]).

Rivers Baptist Church Soccer Club is looking to have 2 Under 7's, 1 Under 8's, 2 Under 9's, 1 Under 10's, 1 Under 11's, 1 Under 12's, 1 Under 14's and a Mens teams participating in the QCSA (Queensland Christian Soccer Association - http://www.qcsa.org.au [17]).

All registration forms are available from this page. They are in word format if you would like to complete them and bring them along to Sign On that may speed up the rego process.

ALL PLAYERS/PARENTS - Complete the medical form.

JUNIORS - Complete the QCSA forms.
LADIES - Complete the Baptist forms.
MEN - Complete both QCSA and Baptist Forms.
PLAYERS FROM OTHER CLUBS - Complete the Player Transfer form also.
