BSF are holding an information meeting at Rivers Baptist Church.
If you are interested in a 33 week Bible study of Matthew just for ladies, you can register for next year on this date. Children's program is available for children aged 2 - school age.
Would you be able to help supervise our children (around 10) while we do our devotion? The time would be from 9:45 until 10:15 on Wednesday mornings. You’re welcome to stay for coffee and whatever yummy treats we’ve made for morning tea! If you’re interested, please see Bec Gollan.

Do you have young children? Would you like to get together with other Christian mums for a short Bible study and some fellowship? A group of us meet together each Wednesday morning at the church from 9:30 am until around 11 am. All you need to bring are your kids and their morning tea (morning tea for the mums is supplied on a roster system). We’d love to see you there. Our group is open to all mums, regardless of which church they go to or whether they go to church at all! For more information contact the office: office@riversbaptist.com
CWCI (Christian Women Communicating International) is an evangelical organisation which has a Bible-based teaching ministry called KYB (Know Your Bible).
A KYB study group meets every Tuesday night at 7.30 pm. Our hostess is Gwen Flood (contact Rivers Baptist Office on 3285 2507 for the address).
We have just commenced a very interesting and challenging study on “The Holy Spirit in the Old and New Testaments”. At the beginning of October our study is “More of God’s Women”.

This craft group, which meets each Tuesday in the church hall during school terms, are a group that like to keep their ‘fingers busy’. We would like to thank them for the wonderful cards they make that they donate to the church office. Perhaps you have received one in the mail?
Thanks ladies!

The Symphony Avenue small group is planning a 2–3 week trip to South Africa in early March 2007.
The tentative itinerary is to fly into Johannesburg and then on to the Victoria Falls. There will be time here to visit a game reserve to enjoy viewing the ‘Big Five’, camping over, a sunset cruise on the Chobe River, etc. Then we return to Johannesburg, travel to Swaziland to visit a school and friends of Thelma and Michael Bowes, as well as take in the sights.
To be part of this adventure, just ask Thelma, Barbara Jones or Beth Cunningham for further details.
